For many years the fearsome Joseph Gushanas has inflicted education on many eighth graders. Some of his terrible acts include but are not limited to, making students read Jane Eyre, teaching students what masticate means, and calling random people “Chen”. All in all, a terrifying sight to behold.
“NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!”
-Daddy G
This menacing figure often goes by the moniker of “Daddy G”, his Clash of Clans username. He can often be observed playing this game in class, especially in 6th period, the last period of the day where he has had to put up with annoying kids all day long. The one observed weakness of Mr. Gushanas has been the complete inability to notice certain people getting up and leaving his lair, menacingly named “The Classroom”. This behavior has been repeatedly noticed by a dedicated team of specialists. We cannot tell what makes a person undetectable, and are working to find the answers. It has also been noted that The Classroom is unusually warm, perhaps because of the blinds always over the window.

Daddy G tends to have rather predictable pathfinding. He will generally begin class outside the door, watching people as they come in. Once class begins, he will stand at the front of the room by the Promethean board and talk about the day’s activities. Once he starts the activity, he will remain at the front of the room for several minutes, before walking up the middle island, and right in front of the back row to his desk, which he usually remains at for the rest of class, with low variance from this routine. He has a moderately strict iPad policy at the start of class, where it is likely he will tell you to put your iPad down, though if only one or two people do it, they are not likely to get caught. If he tells you to put your iPad down, you cannot put it back up without immediately being noticed. For the rest of class, he does not care what you do or talk about, having one of the loosest policies in the school. Mr. Gushanas is yet to have a confirmed sighting outside of The Classroom.
Final thoughts and Ranking
In conclusion, Mr. Gushanas is a major menace in the school, but only for 1 period. Homework is manageable, and lots of socializing can be completed. While the content is not very interesting in most units, and Mr. Gushanas puts on a scary face, this is an A-tier class.
